Eric's Upcoming Album

Today, I spent the afternoon with the amazing Eric Goodell, hammering out my piano parts for his upcoming album. It was an enjoyable yet tiring day to be sure.

Eric, along with his equally amazing girlfriend/violin player Sara Bray, came to our house at noon, with all of the components of a fantastic French Dip lunch. After both preparing and partaking in the scrumptious meal (while enjoying the cool, sunny breeze coming from the open windows of our house) Eric and I sat down at my baby grand piano and began to figure out my parts. Sara went into a seperate room to work on her violin parts.

We spent the next 6 hours collaborating, listening, creating, drinking coffee and laughing with each other. Below is a preview of one of today's lighter moments. Please enjoy!:

Tomorrow my parts will be recorded on the Yamaha grand at the Suckau Chapel directly after the Coram Deo church services. After our practice today, I am feeling much more confident and excited about recording.

Eric is being recorded and produced by the sensational Cody Bailey (of Akita Ken fame) and I'm really looking forward to see his recording processes first hand.
