A Fish-Hugging Artist

What many of you may NOT know, is that I get paid for drawing pictures. In fact, I've been getting paid for drawing pictures since I was 17. To make things weirder, I draw pictures full-time for people in Hawaii...while I live in Omaha Nebraska. Only with the Magic of the internet can this work.


I'm the "in-house" graphic designer/illustrator for a company called HCRI: Hawaii Coral Reef Initiative. And no. Mr. Limbuagh, we're not some wacko. liberal, environmentalist, tree hugger organization. (We prefer hugging fish.) It's our job to raise the public awareness towards Hawaii's coral reefs, and to help raise money for the many scientists and researchers that are studying it. Â One way that we are doing this, is by developing an enormous science curriculum for Hawaii public schools entitled "Reef Pulse". I've been working on the illustrations and layout for this publication for several years now. Yes, I've drawn many a fish. Here's some of the latest illustrations:
